WOW! It's been a while since I last posted--sorry!
Even though this blog has not been updated recently, Magnify the Lord Artwork continues to create and exhibit, with the mission of touching hearts and encouraging those we can!
Our tissue Advent/Christmas banner for 2015 was inspired by thinking of many of the qualities that the light of God brings into our lives.
We have had our first exhibit for 2016, at the National Association for Catholic Chaplains Conference April 22-24 in Chicago. Wonderful to meet so many people who are touching lives.
We have a rather full exhibit season in the works, so we hope we will see you during the year.

FALL EXHIBITING
We had a succesful exhibit at the Chicago Cateehetical Conference in Drury Lane last week, though the limited time for setting up and dismantling presented its challenges. Thanks to all who stopped by and especially to those who found artwork to purchase. May it be a blessing to you!
Next up:
We will be at the Green Bay Diocese Leadership Convocation and the Wisconsin Directors of Religious Education Biennial Conference in the upcoming weeks, and also at a Gallery Night at the Siena Retreat Center. Contact me if you want more information.
Also, I will be bringing a number of prints to the Art*Bar for its annual "mini" exhibit in November and December. It's quite a show--walls are covered with pieces of art that are 8"x8" or smaller and under $100! Stop by and enjoy :)
We are looking forward to meeting those who find us at any of these venues!

2 pieces now at Alverno's Alumnae Art Exhibit
Alverno's Alumnae Art Exhibit opened October 4th with a wine and cheese reception. I have 2 pieces on exhibit in the show, which will close on October 25. It's a show you would enjoy-- I hope you can stop by: The Art and Culture Gallery, Foundation Hall, 4th floor.

2014 EXHIBITS...
We enjoyed exhibiting in St. Louis in May for the National Conference of Catechetical Leaders--a new venue!...and Magnify the Lord artwork and Birds at Rest will again be at the annual conference of the United Methodists of Wisconsin June 21-23 at the Marriott Madison West.

Back to back exhibits!
Thanks to all who came to our display at the Chicago Catechetical Conference! We met some wonderful people and many chose to purchase some of our work.
Our next exhibit will be this Friday-Saturday-Sunday in downtown Milwaukee at the Call to Action Conference. We are looking forward to seeing friends from past conferences and meeting new people. We'll be setting up tomorrow afternoon to be ready for Friday's opening.

A Time for Creating!
My husband and I are enjoying these wonderful early fall days, and taking advantage of a relatively free calendar to spend time creating and readying for upcoming exhibits...As I previously posted, I will have 2 pieces in the 2013 Alverno Alumnae Art Exhibit which opens this Friday, October 4th from 5-8pm and goes until October 25. It promises to be a good exhibit--stop by!

Artwork entered in Alverno's Alumnae Art Exhibit!
Yesterday I brought 2 pieces of my artwork to Alverno for the 2013 Alumnae Art Exhibit. The exhibit will run from October 4 (opening celebration from 5-8) to October 26th. One piece is the Dorothy Day print I have posted earlier. The other is a quilted water print with a quotation from Isaiah 43. Come to the opening if you can, or stop by during the month of October, and enjoy!
