Back to back exhibits!

Thanks to all who came to our display at the Chicago Catechetical Conference! We met some wonderful people and many chose to purchase some of our work.

Our next exhibit will be this Friday-Saturday-Sunday in downtown Milwaukee at the Call to Action Conference. We are looking forward to seeing friends from past conferences and meeting new people. We'll be setting up tomorrow afternoon to be ready for Friday's opening.

Meanwhile, we have 15 pieces at the ArtBar's "mini" exhibit. Stop in to see the art-covered walls--it's amazing and inspiring! The ArtBar is at 722 E Burleigh Street in Riverwest: www.ArtBar-Riverwest.com

Yesterday I brought 2 pieces of my artwork to Alverno for the 2013 Alumnae Art Exhibit. The exhibit will run from October 4 (opening celebration from 5-8) to October 26th. One piece is the Dorothy Day print I have posted earlier. The other is a quilted water print with a quotation from Isaiah 43. A Wonderful Day with Dorothy Day!

Our exhibit at the Cardinal Stritch Symposium on Dorothy Day on August 14 was a wonderful blessing! We enjoyed talking with those who came to browse and especially those who found artwork to meet their needs. Many thanks to you :)

Our next scheduled exhibit is in the Chicago area at the Chicago Festival of Faith, at the end of October. We will be back in Milwaukee at the Call to Action Conference Nov. 1-3.

    Summer, already! Exhibits upcoming...

We really enjoyed being at the Wisconsin United Methodist Conference in Madison in June. Even though our exhibit space was a bit off the beaten track, we met some wonderful people and many patrons!

It's been a very busy spring & summer of travel, exhibiting, and hosting family and visitors...but we do have a number of exhibits coming this fall:
    • The Cardinal Stritch Symposium on August 14
    • The Chicago Catechetical Conference on October 25 & 26
    • The Alumni Art Show at Alverno also in October
    • The Call to Action Conference on Nov.1, 2 & 3
    • The Mini-Exhibit at the Art Bar in December
    More information will be forthcoming...

    UPCOMING EXHIBITS

We have had a busy fall and winter, and are beginning to work out our exhibit schedule for 2013...stay tuned!!
One venue we know about is the Wisconsin United Methodist Conference in Madison June 7-9. We really enjoyed being there last year and are looking forward to being there this year too. If you will be there, stop by our exhibit! (Unfortunately, the Northern Illinois conference is not having outside exhibitors this year, so we will not be able to exhibit there.)
